School-Based Medicaid Billing Services Available via Cooperative State Purchasing Program in Florida
New contract between Computer Automation Systems, Inc. and the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium provides school districts in Florida with access to Medicaid billing services.
Mountain Home, AR – September 20, 2012 – Computer Automation Systems, Inc. (CAS), , is pleased to announce it has been awarded a new contract with the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium (PAEC) through their Cooperative State Purchasing Program to provide Medicaid billing services to PAEC member and participating school districts in Florida. The contract was awarded via a competitive request for proposal (RFP) process that met Florida’s strict purchasing requirements.

CAS’s partnership with PAEC will enable member and other participating school districts to access professional services and software for school-based Medicaid billing – a federal program that provides reimbursement to schools for the cost of providing health-related services to the special education population.
