Web-based system improves upon industry-leading package by delivering more efficient ways for school service providers to document their therapy sessions.

Mountain Home, AR; March 22, 2012 – Computer Automation Systems (CAS) announced the release of DSCtop Mobile; a mobile application that unites the advantages of the DSCtop encounter-capture system with the convenience of an iPad, iPhone or any mobile device. Launching as a free companion application to the online version of DSCtop, it is available to current CAS Medicaid clients.

The new mobile functionality is unique in the education Medicaid services industry. DSCtop Mobile provides anytime, anywhere access to DSCtop information and capabilities, enhancing the ability to use the platform to reduce time, improve productivity and maximize return on Medicaid revenue.

Bob Bundy, president of CAS Medicaid Services commented on the new solution, “School providers don’t sit in front of a computer, so we are adapting our solutions to the way they work. This is our reaction to what customers have asked for; making their lives less complicated is our primary mission and we are very excited to deliver this solution for them.”

DSCtop users can now use the mobile app to:

  • Document service sessions with notes, progress, and correlation to the student’s IEP goals
  • Perform the same functions as the standard DSCtop with a user interface optimized for mobile devices
  • Capture data in a more timely and immediate fashion
  • Utilize their existing smart phone and tablet platforms
  • Feedback from test users indicates that the application provides a simple, timesaving solution. According to one service provider who tested the product, “I can document immediately on my iPad – no more waiting until I get to a PC. What a time saver!”
