Arkansas Medicaid Proposed Changes for Schools

Arkansas Medicaid recently published new Proposed Rules for Public Comment, which will affect school districts billing Medicaid (in Arkansas only). The changes will affect Therapies (OT, PT, and SLP), as well as School-Based Mental Health (SBMH). There are many proposed changes to SBMH, among them, ArKidsB beneficiaries can now be billed by schools. Regarding Therapy, Medicaid is proposing a 6 unit maximum (group and individual) of billing per week per student. See below for the link, then scroll down to find the proposed changes.
